# WooCommerce Custom Field

A **WooCommerce Custom Field** is a product field PriceFetchWP uses to store the external product URL associated with a WooCommerce product.

By default, PriceFetchWP uses:

```
external_price_fetch
```

The WooCommerce custom field must have a **name** and **value** for PriceFetchWP to run on that external/affiliate product.

Choose any custom name you would like, but know that the custom field name on your products must match the custom field name in the PriceFetchWP settings.

The custom field value should be the direct link to the external product.
